The Keeper of the Lore

Welcome. I am Rose, the lead apothecary and resident scribe here at Stone and Star Events.

By day, I serve as an event planner at a major university. In that world, I master the stone: the logistics, the safety protocols, the massive timelines, and the Cliffs of Insanity that come with managing large-scale campus events. I know how to build a foundation that won't crumble, no matter how ambitious the vision.

But my heart has always lived among the stars.

I believe that a wedding or a milestone celebration shouldn’t just be an event—it should be an immersive journey into the stories you love most. Whether you’re looking to exchange unbreakable vows in a setting that would make a Headmaster proud, or you’re planning a galactic union that spans the Outer Rim, I speak your language.

Every Great Adventure has a Legendary Beginning

My journey into the world of celebrations didn't begin with a business license—it began as early as elementary school. Standing alongside my family as we spearheaded community festivals and events, I learned early on that the true magic of any gathering lies in the heart of service and the strength of the community behind it.

The Foundation: Built in Stone

While I spent my undergraduate years exploring the creative arts, my hands were always busy with the work of a coordinator. During this time, I was a leader within several student organizations, planning a wide array of events and dedicated to community service, including my work with the international social sorority, Delta Zeta, and the international community service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. It was through these early councils that I quickly realized my path was always destined for the Great Hall. I went on to earn my Master’s degree with a concentration in special events, followed by a post-graduate certificate in Hospitality and Tourism.

My professional quest truly took shape during my time with the Walt Disney Company. While interning at the Most Magical Place on Earth, I didn't just witness magic—I studied it. I earned certifications in Disney’s Hospitality and Guest Service as well as Event Operations, alongside several awards for exemplary service. From there, I transitioned into education, where I’ve spent years managing hundreds of events both in my personal life as well as professional life, navigating complex logistics, and hosting VIP guests and vendors from all stages of their heroic journey.

The Inspiration: Written in the Stars

When I’m not drafting event scrolls or coordinating logistics, you’ll find me where the stories are told. I am a lifelong traveler and a frequent guest at Renaissance faires, street festivals, and Comic Cons around the globe.

I don't just study these fandoms; I live in them. I’ve walked the cobblestones of ancient cities and explored the high-energy floors of the world's biggest conventions. This personal passion is the "secret ingredient" in my apothecary—it’s the reason I know the difference between a "good" theme and a truly immersive experience.
